D-LINK 24 PORT POE SWITCH (DGS-1210-28P)

The D-Link DGS-1210-28P 28-Port Gigabit Smart Managed PoE Switch combines high-speed Gigabit networking with Power over Ethernet and advanced network management features. It is designed for businesses and organizations that need reliable connectivity, centralized network control and the ability to power compatible devices directly through Ethernet cables.

The switch features 24 × 10/100/1000BASE-T PoE ports along with 4 × Gigabit RJ45/SFP combo ports. The combo ports provide flexibility for copper or fiber-based Gigabit connections, making the switch suitable for network expansion and uplink applications.

With a 193W total PoE budget, the DGS-1210-28P can provide power to compatible PoE devices such as IP surveillance cameras, wireless access points and VoIP equipment while simultaneously carrying network data over the same Ethernet connection. It supports IEEE 802.3af/at PoE standards.

The switch provides a 56 Gbps switching capacity and 41.7 Mpps maximum forwarding rate, supporting efficient handling of network traffic. Its smart management capabilities provide greater control compared with a basic unmanaged switch.

For network segmentation and traffic management, the DGS-1210-28P supports features including VLAN, QoS, Link Aggregation, Spanning Tree Protocol and IGMP Snooping. It also provides L2+ Static Routing, allowing communication between different VLANs or network segments without relying entirely on an external router.

Security features include 802.1X port-based authentication, ACLs and D-Link Safeguard Engine, helping administrators control network access and protect the switching environment. The optional Surveillance Mode provides a dedicated interface and features for compatible surveillance deployments.

The DGS-1210-28P also supports IEEE 802.3az Energy-Efficient Ethernet, helping reduce power consumption. Its store-and-forward architecture and support for jumbo frames make it suitable for data-intensive business networking environments.
