1. Eligibility & Account Security

• Contractual Capacity: By accessing this platform, you affirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally competent to enter into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
  
  
• Account Confidentiality: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and restricting unauthorized access to your devices. All transactions initiated under your credentials shall be deemed authorized by you.
  
  
• Accuracy of Information: You warrant that all information provided during account creation and checkout (including address, phone number, and GSTIN) is accurate, current, and complete.
  
  

2. Product Specifications, Pricing Volatility & Technical Compatibility

• Dynamic IT Pricing & Order Acceptance: Computer hardware, processors, graphics cards, and storage pricing fluctuate rapidly based on international currency exchange rates, component availability, and market supply chains. Order placement does not bind acceptance; an order is accepted upon fulfillment and dispatch.
  
  
• Errors & Omissions: Occasional typographical errors, inaccuracies, or stock discrepancies may occur. We reserve the right to correct pricing or specification errors and update or cancel orders resulting from inadvertent system errors.
  
  
• Technical Compatibility Responsibility: While product specifications are provided for guidance, the Customer is exclusively responsible for ensuring that components purchased (e.g., CPU socket types, RAM speeds, motherboard form factors, PSU wattage) are fully compatible with their existing hardware ecosystem. Returns or replacements based on compatibility mismatch will not be entertained.
  
  

3. Orders, Pre-Shipment Cancellation & Finality of Sale

• Order Offer & Acceptance: Order confirmation emails do not constitute final order acceptance. We reserve the right to cancel, decline, or limit order quantities prior to shipment due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraudulent activity. In such pre-shipment cancellation cases, a full 100% refund will be issued to the original payment mode.
  
  
• Finality of Sale Post-Delivery: Once an order is processed, shipped, and delivered to the recipient, all sales are final. Wellknown Computers Private Limited does not offer returns, cash refunds, or change-of-mind exchanges post-delivery, except under statutory consumer rights and the explicit Dead-On-Arrival (DOA) / Transit Damage procedures detailed in Section 5 of these policies.
  
  
• Anti-Commercial Reselling: We reserve the right to restrict or cancel orders placed by unauthorized commercial traders, resellers, or automated scraping scripts. Bulk B2B procurement must be processed through our dedicated corporate sales desk (quote@wellknowncomputers.org).
  
  

4. Shipping, Delivery & Risk of Loss

• Shipment Contract: All physical hardware products are dispatched pursuant to a shipment contract. Risk of loss and title for items pass to the customer upon courier delivery confirmation at the destination address.
  
  
• Transit Timelines: Estimated delivery timelines represent carrier estimates and are non-guaranteed. We are not liable for transit delays caused by weather events, regional restrictions, courier delays, or force majeure conditions.
  
  

5. Product Warranties & Manufacturer Service Redressal

• Direct Company/Manufacturer Warranty: Wellknown Computers Private Limited acts as an authorized retail distributor. Service warranty will be provided by the brand/company directly to consumers based on brand policy (on-site service or offsite authorized service center visit).
  
  
• No In-House Repairing: Wellknown Computers Private Limited does not independently warrant, repair, or alter third-party hardware components once successfully delivered.
  
  
• Support & Assistance Desk: Our customer support desk will assist buyers by providing official GST tax invoices, serial number verifications, and directing customers to local authorized service centers (e.g., HP, Dell, Lenovo, ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI, Intel, AMD).
  
  
• Warranty Voidance: Any physical damage, liquid spillage, component burn, overclocking outside factory defaults, missing serial stickers, or unauthorized alteration completely voids brand warranty policies.
  
  

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All platform content-including text, graphics, logos, software code, images, audio clips, data compilations, and brand icons-is the exclusive property of Wellknown Computers Private Limited or its brand suppliers, protected under Indian and international copyright and trademark laws.

7. Prohibited Uses

Users are strictly prohibited from using the website to engage in unlawful activities, transmit malicious code/viruses, scrape platform data, bypass security protocols, or place fraudulent orders.

8. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, Wellknown Computers Private Limited, its directors, officers, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, including lost revenue, lost business data, or system downtime arising from product use. Total liability shall not exceed the net invoice amount paid for the specific product purchased.

9. Governing Law & Exclusive Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal dispute, claim, or proceeding arising under or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts situated in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India.
