PeopleLink icam FHD-LT 20X Teacher Tracking

The PeopleLink iCam FHD-LT 20X Teacher Tracking Camera is designed for educational environments that require automated teacher tracking and reliable video capture. Its dual-camera configuration combines a dedicated tracking camera with a full-view camera, allowing institutions to capture both detailed presenter footage and a wider view of the teaching space.

The tracking camera features a 1/2.8-inch Exmor CMOS sensor with 2.14MP resolution and supports Full HD video up to 1920 × 1080 at 60fps. Its 20× optical zoom and 12× digital zoom provide flexible framing for teachers presenting from different positions in a classroom or lecture hall.

The integrated tracking functionality is designed to follow the teacher’s movement across the teaching area, reducing the need for manual camera operation. The camera’s PTZ mechanism supports ±170° horizontal rotation and -30° to +90° vertical movement, with 256 preset positions for repeatable camera positioning.

The second camera provides a wider view of the room. Its 1/2.8-inch Exmor CMOS sensor, 8mm lens and 86° horizontal field of view help capture the classroom environment alongside the teacher-tracking feed.

For integration with classroom AV systems, the camera supports USB 3.0, RS232, RS485 and network connectivity. Video compression options include H.265, H.264 and MJPEG, while supported network protocols include HTTP, RTSP, RTMP, RTP, TCP, UDP and ONVIF. Optional PoE simplifies installation where compatible equipment is used.

The PeopleLink iCam FHD-LT 20X is suitable for schools, colleges, universities, lecture halls and distance-learning environments that need teacher tracking, lecture recording and automated classroom video capture.
