D-Link DIR-615 Wireless N300 Router (DIR-615)

Create a reliable wireless network with the D-Link DIR-615 Wireless N300 Router. Designed for home and small-office environments, this router allows multiple compatible devices to share an internet connection and access network resources wirelessly or through wired Ethernet connections.

The DIR-615 supports IEEE 802.11b/g/n wireless standards and offers theoretical wireless speeds of up to 300 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. This makes it suitable for everyday activities such as web browsing, email, online learning, and routine internet use. Actual wireless performance depends on network conditions, connected devices, and the surrounding environment.

For wired connectivity, the router includes four 10/100 Mbps LAN ports for connecting computers and other Ethernet-enabled devices, along with one 10/100 Mbps WAN port for connecting a compatible broadband modem. Its WPA/WPA2 wireless security, NAT, and SPI firewall features help protect the network from unauthorized access.

The web-based setup wizard makes initial configuration straightforward, while Quality of Service (QoS) support on applicable hardware revisions helps manage network traffic. The D-Link DIR-615 is a practical option for basic networking needs where gigabit Ethernet and newer Wi-Fi standards are not required.
