eSSL AiFace Mars Facial Recognition Attendance and Access Control System

The eSSL AiFace Mars combines visible-light facial recognition with attendance management and door access control functionality. It enables employees to record attendance without physical contact, while anti-spoofing technology helps protect against fraudulent authentication attempts involving printed photographs, video playback and 3D masks.

The terminal uses a 2MP WDR low-light camera and adjustable LED illumination to support facial recognition under varying lighting conditions. Its recognition system supports distances of up to 2 metres and acceptance angles of approximately ±30°, providing flexibility for suitable installation environments.

For attendance and credential management, the AiFace Mars supports up to 3,000 face templates, 3,000 card records and 150,000 transaction records. Its 5-inch touchscreen provides a convenient interface for daily operation.

The system supports TCP/IP, RS485 and Wiegand input/output for integration with compatible attendance systems and access control equipment. Wi-Fi and 13.56MHz MIFARE card support are available as optional configurations, while the standard card option supports 125kHz ID cards.

For controlled-entry applications, the terminal can connect to compatible electric door locks, door sensors, exit buttons and alarm systems. Additional functions include access levels, groups, holiday schedules, anti-passback, record queries and tamper-switch alarms.
