PeopleLink Conference System – Chairman Unit (Wired)

The PeopleLink Wired Chairman Unit is designed for structured meetings in corporate boardrooms, council chambers, training rooms, and conference facilities. It forms part of a compatible wired digital conference system and enables the chairperson to manage speaking requests and control the flow of discussions.

The unit features a touch-sensitive control interface with dedicated microphone, priority, and consent buttons. The priority function allows the chairperson to manage delegate microphone activity, while the consent control helps handle requests to speak.

A 128 × 32mm OLED display provides useful meeting information, including microphone status, volume level, clock, and speaking-time information. Two-colour LED indicators show microphone activity and speaking-request status, helping participants follow the discussion process.

The removable gooseneck microphone provides focused voice capture, while the integrated loudspeaker supports local audio playback. Dual 3.5mm stereo headphone jacks with volume adjustment offer private audio monitoring when required.

The chairman unit connects to a compatible conference controller through CAT5/CAT6 cabling and RJ45 interfaces. Its wired design provides a practical solution for meeting spaces that require centralised discussion management and reliable audio communication.
