TP-Link TL-WA850RE is a 300Mbps Universal Wi-Fi Range Extender designed to improve wireless coverage in areas where the existing router signal is weak. It operates on the 2.4GHz band and supports 802.11b/g/n standards. With Range Extender and Access Point modes, a 10/100Mbps Ethernet port, WPS setup and signal-strength indicators, it provides a convenient solution for extending Wi-Fi coverage at home or in a small office.

Improve your wireless coverage with the TP-Link TL-WA850RE 300Mbps Universal Wi-Fi Range Extender. Designed to reduce Wi-Fi dead zones, the TL-WA850RE receives the existing wireless signal from your router and extends coverage into areas that may have limited connectivity.
The extender supports 2.4GHz 802.11b/g/n wireless networking with speeds of up to 300Mbps. Its compact wall-mounted design makes it easy to install and reposition according to signal requirements.
Setup is simplified through the WPS and Range Extender buttons. Once connected to the existing router, the five signal-strength indicator lights help identify a suitable location for the extender. TP-Link also provides the Tether App for managing supported settings from a mobile device.
The built-in 10/100Mbps Ethernet port allows the TL-WA850RE to work as a wireless adapter for compatible wired devices such as smart TVs, gaming consoles, DVRs and other network-enabled equipment.
The TL-WA850RE supports both Range Extender and Access Point modes, along with wireless security features such as WEP and WPA/WPA2-PSK. Its low power consumption and compact design make it suitable for everyday home and small-office wireless networking.
