Dell WM118 Wireless Optical Mouse – 1000 DPI

Enjoy a clean and convenient desktop setup with the Dell WM118 Wireless Optical Mouse. Designed for everyday computing, this wireless mouse combines reliable 2.4GHz RF connectivity with a compact design and straightforward plug-and-play operation.

Reliable Wireless Connectivity

The WM118 uses 2.4GHz wireless technology with a Nano receiver, providing a cable-free connection between the mouse and compatible computer. The current Dell user guide specifies an operating distance of up to 10 meters, giving you flexibility when positioning your mouse.

Precise Optical Tracking

With a 1000 DPI optical sensor, the mouse provides responsive cursor movement for everyday tasks such as web browsing, document editing, email and general office applications. Dell specifies three buttons: left click, right click and a mechanical scroll wheel.

Long Battery Life

The mouse operates using one AA battery. Dell’s current India product listing specifies up to 18 months of battery life, helping reduce the need for frequent battery replacement. Actual battery life can vary depending on usage and operating conditions.

Plug-and-Play Convenience

The WM118 is designed for easy setup. Simply connect the Nano USB receiver to a compatible USB port and use the mouse without complicated software installation. For computers without a USB-A port, Dell’s current user guide notes that a USB-C-to-USB-A adapter may be required and is sold separately.

Broad Device Compatibility

The current Dell WM118 User’s Guide lists support for Windows 10/11, macOS 11 or later, Linux, Ubuntu, ChromeOS, iPadOS 14 or later and Android 9.0 or later, making it suitable for a variety of modern computing devices.

Specifications

Dell India confirms the current retail specification of 1000 DPI, 3 buttons, 1 × AA battery and 18-month battery life. The current Dell User’s Guide provides the updated operating-system compatibility and 10m operating distance.
